Beta Terms
PelagiQuant currently runs as a closed beta. These terms supplement the Terms of Use for the duration of the beta; where they differ, these terms apply during the beta.
What the beta is
The PelagiQuant beta is a free test of the website, the interface, server load, the analytics pages and demo machines. A demo machine (dry-run) runs on a virtual account with real market prices and places no real trades.
What the beta does not do
During the beta we do not accept payments, do not connect to users' exchange accounts, do not request or accept API keys, do not place real trades with users' funds, do not hold users' funds and do not manage users' assets. The two machines Saturn and Venus, which the service shows as an open example, run on the platform operator's own funds.
Not financial advice
Information in the beta is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice. We do not tell you to buy or sell any asset.
Historical data
Historical tests and demo observations show how a strategy behaved on past data and do not guarantee future results. The real market, fees, liquidity, execution delays, exchange settings and the user's own actions can change the outcome.
Age
Only persons aged 18 or over may take part in the beta. You confirm this yourself at registration; we do not request documents.
User data
We process registration data and technical data about how the site works in accordance with the Privacy Policy. During the beta we do not collect API keys, identity documents, bank card details or data about users' real trades.
The beta may change
Beta features may change, be switched off or be temporarily unavailable. This is a test mode: something may break briefly, and demo machine data may be reset.
Ending access
We may limit or end beta access in case of rule violations, abuse or a threat to the security of the service, and when the beta ends. Commercial terms of the live version will be published separately after the beta and a legal review.
